Late May in New England

The Deepest Exhale

Waking up to see the sunrise has already begun
Layers of clothing no longer needed
Radiating heat reflecting off of delicate skin
Floating in bodies of water
How does it always feel like the first time

summer is coming

.the beaches of massachusetts.

Growing up in the arid sagebrush foothills it feel pretty magical to be able to drive 10 mins to the ocean. I love sandy beaches of Massachusetts. Cape Cod has yellow corse sand and here on Cape Ann it's such a fine white almost powder sand.

.trust yourself.

Today I went to the beach. I'm starting to feel anxious about the end of summer - about not being able to ride my bike/take the train or drive a car to the ocean and submerge myself in it's peace - purifying my mind/spirit from everything

I spent the day soaking up the delicious sunrise and diving into the sea, floating with my arms and legs stretched out in an X -
trusting in letting go -
to remember to trust -
to try to trust and be supported -
allowing the salty sea to hold me up.

While I was floating I kept hearing "listen to your heart"
turn down that volume outside -
listen to your heart/rhythm/desires -
TRUST YOURSELF.

I hope you're trying to float (let go) in your own way and I hope you find the  love and support when you do.

“We believe in compassion, live compassion, and compassion grows in our lives.
We believe in love, live lovingly, and love grows in our lives.
We stand in our light, live our light, and the light grows within us.
We need only make a beginning,
and that beginning will foster within us the power to move forward”
