...a journey about a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, Birth Advocate, Wanderlust junkie, Campfire Cookin Foodie, Wannabe Homesteader, and Health Educator serving as a HIV/AIDS Technical Advisor with local gov't in Southern Malawi.

p.s. this blog is a progressive journey beginning in 2007 when I landed in the small Andean country of Ecuador where I served as a Community Health Specialist with the Peace Corps organzing Promotora groups, training Women in the WHO Curriculum of Integrated Mangement of Childhood Illnesses, built school gardens, planned meals at a Catholic boarding school, and was photographer for the local Mindeno newspaper! And after being stateside working at a beautiful community health center, SeaMar as a Health Educator I was offered the amazing chance to serve again with the Peace Corps in small country in South Eastern Africa, Malawi. Of course I said yes! Join me on this unencumbered journey!
